Day 23

Tuesday
Breakfast: kashi, milk, banana
Snack: ginormous chocolate chip cookie
Lunch: arroz con pollo, watermelon
Snack: carrots and cucumbers w/ dip
Pre-Gym Snack: string cheese, apple
Dinner: ajiaco, rice and avocado

That pesky chocolate chip cookie somehow managed to come back into my life. It's okay, though. It's been a while since I've had one. The good thing is that I only ate one. Those damn cookies are on special right now 2 for 1. Even the store clerk reminded me that they were on special. But no thanks, one was good enough for me.

It was cardio day so I did 15 minutes on the elliptical and 45 minutes of walking/jogging on the treadmill. Wow, I've come a long way since my measly 20 minute workouts, huh?

  1. I'll bet the store clerk never mentions when broccoli or whole wheat bread are on sale. LOL! They always push fresh French bread and fried chicken at my grocery store. The same annoying greeter always tells me he saved a loaf or chicken just for me.

    Maybe I'm wrong to let what I look like have such an impact on how I live my life but it is what it is. Maybe my way of thinking will change as time goes by, but I'm not willing to risk wasting any more time. I've wasted enough already."

    Why do you call this a weight loss blog?
