Tell it to me slowly

Wednesday was a 72% good eating day. That's a bad eating day in my book.

There is some good news though.

I did HIIT on the elliptical for 15 minutes. I could only do 15 because I started Ramp It Up. I seriously got my a** handed to me doing that workout and didn't have much energy or strength to get in a full half hour on the elli. Wow, I forgot how tough Ramp It Up is. My limbs felt like falling off of me and running away. Okay, okay, I'm exaggerating. But my legs and arms did in fact feel the burn.

Oh..

Do you know what leg lifts are? Or are they called butt lifts?
You can do them with a bent leg like this:

Or with a straight leg like this:
Well, whatever they're called and however you do them, I hate them with a fiery passion. I cringe when Debbie Siebers says "Okay, now onto the floor on all fours...(or something like that)" because I know soon, my butt cheeks will be on fire.

I just don't like them.

But I do them anyway because after 6 weeks, my butt will look sweet. And all that pain and suffering I went through will be TOTALLY worth it.

=)

I love that workout! Because..well my butt is so small & I like to think that magically it will make it bigger! But yes they do burn and rather quickly i might add! I'll get to number 10 and i'm already feelin it burn burn burn!

  4. Love the drawings.
The last time I took a workout class we had to do those for what felt like forever. The instructor loved calling them 'doggy lifts' & would tell us to "mark our territory" which always made everyone snicker...especially since the class was 100% female. lol

    congrats on all your workouts!!

  5. kimmi - you do these on the shred?!?! I never got that far...I'm still trying to figure out how you would do them with weights

AFG - those exercises DO make your butt bigger! well, technically they tone your butt which makes it appear bigger...that's what I've read anyways. whatever...I'll do anything to make my butt look nice

Bee - straight legs are easier...but they still have the same outcome...they ALL hurt!

Lynn - lol I LOVE that name! That's what I'm calling them from now on.

Many of my Firm tapes have those--ugh, ugh, ugh. lol

All the pain and suffering *will* be worth it.
